Orientation Visits

Cadets from each Marine Corps JROTC unit attend an Annual Spring Orientation Visit to a major military installation. These one-week trips with instructors and chaperones participating are usually the highlight of a school year.

Orientation Visits give cadets a chance to observe and participate in Marine Corps training activities, ride in helicopters, work out in organized physical training sessions, and fire various service weapons.

Some of the most frequently visited bases are Camp Pendleton, Parris Island, Quantico, Camp Lejeune, and Twenty Nine Palms.
