Lightening Kiss

Heat radiated from his hand, as he caressed my back. I was lost, but it didn?t matter, we had no place to go. The afternoon was dragging on, and I didn?t want to think about tyme, it would only remind me that the world did exist.

Warm lips pressed against mine, a moment, that turned out just a little longer than real tyme would have imagined.

Giggling, I jumped up from the soft couch and Michael?s grasp, it was only because of the sound that came from the door. Michael followed me, only to meet me staring at a fuzzy mass walking away from the door. Michael?s smile lit up the room at the appearance of Tony, his orange tabby.

A piddering sound erupted from a nearby window. I edged my way around to the door to see if I could see what it was, a torrent of rain was coming down. It was a beautiful sight, and I felt Michael?s arm reach around my waist.

His lips brushed against my face, and I felt the blood rush to my face. Everything was warm. Hands on my cheeks, pulling me closer. I was lost in his eyes, brownish-green. Lips drew closer, the rain fell in the screen of the aluminum door, and as lip connected there was the brightest flash of lightening and loudest crash of thunder.

-------------------------------------------------------------
Only the beginning of a possibly larger story, but as it stands it is a nice little scene to entice the senses, I know I was enticed. Brought about by an afternoon kiss, that echoed with thunder and lightening. It was a suprise and a perfect moent that is now captured in written word.
