What is the C.A.H.

The C.A.H. is an association in Thessaloniki, Greece, that works for a more free, dignified and proud life for homosexual and bisexual citizens, women and men. Its members can be adult persons of all ages, sexes and sexual orientation, interested in acting against prejudice and discrimination towards homosexuality and bisexuality and for the respect of the human rights of all homosexual, bisexual, transgendered and transexual women and men.

The C.A.H. was founded in November, 1995 and since then it takes action in the city with conventions, joining festivals and happenings of other groups, editing books (Homosexuality and homophobia and Families of same-sex couples) and intervening in politics and media. The C.A.H. also organises the Panorama of lgbt films every year, while it used to edit the magazine "Vitamin O". It is also a member of the RAXEN network, a network for information about racism and xenophobia, and the greek department of EUMC and of the International Lesbian and Gay Assosiation (ILGA).

How can I help?

There are two ways!

You can come to our Sunday meetings, and meet us and, should you wish, sign up as a member of the C.A.H. (or just stay a friend of the C.A.H.), join our actions and enrich them with your ideas and personality!

When do we meet?

Our meetings take place every Sunday at 20:00 at our offices, and they are open to everyone.

In particular, on the first Sunday of each month we have a thematic meeting, for which we notify our members and friends through our website, email and sms. If we wish to be notified, please contact us, so we can add you in our notify list.
