Story Well, if you're hanging out on fansites for The 10th Kingdom I think it's safe to say you know this one, but on the off chance you may not, here goes. This hilarious, serious, and deeply moving fairy~tale satire starts with Virginia Lewis, a waitress from New York. She lives there with her father, Tony, who is a janitor in a hotel next to Central Park. One day while riding to work, Virginia runs her bike into a dog who happens to be Prince Wendell, a ruler from another world! The movie follows Virginia, Tony, and Prince Wendell as they journey back through a portal into the world of the 9 Kingdoms. A man-beast (appropriately) named Wolf also joins their party. He had fallen madly in love with Virginia, and he would do anything to be with her. But, his loyalty was pledged to an evil queen, who turned Wendell into a dog and wanted to rule all of the 9 Kingdoms herself. Wolf says he's changed, and repented from his evil ways... or has he? Why are Virginia and co. being chased by three bumbling trolls? And what is Virginia's connection to this world?
