- California Legislature Home Page
Official site for California legislative information. Site contains searchable database for assembly and senate bills and publications. Full texts of bills, including status and history are available. Entire California Codes are available online at this site.
- Legislative Analyst's Office
The Legislative Analyst's Office (LAO) provides fiscal and policy advice to the Legislature. It is known for its fiscal and programmatic expertise and nonpartisan analyses of the state's budget. LAO publications are available online with search capabilities.
- Administrative Office of the Courts
Official site of the California Judiciary. This site is worth visiting. Slip Opinions: 60 days from Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal. Dockets: All active cases in Courts of Appeal, updated multi-daily, searchable by case number, case name, attorney name; email notification of action taken. Court Minutes: Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal. Trial Courts: Links to trial court web sites. Judicial Council Forms: official forms and recent updates/changes. Court Rules.

Home page of the Office of the Attorney General. The Attorney General also maintains a searchable database of Attorney General Opinions.

A comprehensive site containing a searchable database of members; ethics opinions; rules of professional conduct; legal specialization information, continuing education, programs, etc.
- California Contractor’s Licensing Board
Contains searchable database to check on contractor’s license
- California Tax Center
Information, forms, publications and electronic filing available for individual, employer and special taxes. Links to Internal Revenue Service.
- California Department Real Estate
Comprehensive site including searchable database to check on real estate license.
