Nearly 4 months old First Christmas Just 1 Year

"Nessie" ( FIN Ch Magbeth's Girly, sired by Nord Ch Fritzen's Dorian Grey and the dame is Int, Fin, S & Est Ch, Finnish l-c winner 1996 Magbeth's Henrietta) is my twenty year old dream which came true 1999.
She has been everything I have ever dreamed of - and much more. Now I know why most people who have had a deerie want to have one forever. They are such a wonderful companions and you can't even describe how pleasing their temperament is. Nessie is still young, but after twenty years with salukis I can say I now have a dog who really seems to love me and wants to keep me happy... ;o)

It's pity that it took twenty years before I had courage to have a deerie myself. I was - and I still am - very worried about their health and the fact they usually die quite young. At least the males. Remembering the fact my first saluki was with me sixteen years and never ill, I thought I could not bare the loss if Nessie dies young. Well, I decided to make our life together as good as possible and take every opportunity to enjoy that time. That is what we should do with our lives anyway, isn't it, you never know what happens next! And I sure hope Nessie will be with us for a long, long time!

It was love at first sight. When I saw her I knew: she's The One. She was the smallest, skinniest and liveliest of the litter and to me she was a beauty!
Now she is 3 years old, not so skinny and small anymore, but definitely a beauty - at least to me!

We have visited few shows too and she has had nice success and good critics. She's got CC's from these judges: Kari Engh, Norway, Marion Spavin, GB and Elisabeth Janzon, Sweden. Next summer we try to take part in lure-coursing too.
