Taipans Championship Manager Web Page
The pages are not stylish as I really don't have enough time to set up pretty little borders and flashing lights. What you do get is quality of content. This little site came about one day as I read a quote from Marc Vaughan about a obscure aspect of Championship Manager, and it got me interested to see if there was any other tit-bits of information I could extract from Marc's replies to members of the message board. After doing a number of searches, I ended up with a small but very interesting number of facts regarding the CM3 series, and also an insight into what was to be expected from the new generation match engine CM4, which is due out around October 2002.
I have spilt it into three pages, and below each quote is the link to the full thread on the message board. Read & learn more about this brilliant game:
Check out the downloads page. I only have two, but they are two which you will not find on any other site. One is a Commentary file, which gives new and different commentary for CM00/01. I can't take credit for it, as it was made by a person called Tactical Genuis (Giles), and I will be updating the file once CM01/02 comes out. The other is a collection of crowd sounds I found on the net. If you are one of the few like me that plays the games at slow speed, you will enjoy the additional sounds that you can add to the game. If you are not sure on how to add these sounds, drop me a line.
