Tangos for Dancing and Concert

Introduction

  Tangonave Trío is one of Argentina's most original and hottest Tango groups, featuring three very young and exciting musicians: Luis Ferreyra on flute, Adrián Ramirez on guitar and Juan Pietranera on piano.
The trío loves to perform the Traditional Tango repertory (Guardia Vieja) as well as the New Tango (Guardia Nueva) in both Concert and Dancing styles.
Their new CD "Tangonave" has been released in Buenos Aires and is distributed in Argentina by Acqua Records. It features the trio's intense and fiery renditions of some of Astor Piazzolla's masterpieces as well as some Tango Classics by Anibal Troilo, Horacio Salgán, Julián Plaza and many others, arranged in a very sophisticated and challenging way.
Their work has been presented in Argentina, Uruguay and Europe, including many important International Festivals.
Since its inception in 1994, Tangonave Trio has been collaborating with tango dancers and singers on many occassions enhancing their musical possibilities and repertoire.
The group has finished his first tour in Europe (March-September 2000), where they presented the new CD. Check the NEWS! section below for details.
