Introduction

Having always been intersted in computer science, I have been able to teach my self to write HTML codes resulting in no longer having to use page building software. I had the incredible opportunity to use this ability during the people portion of the United States unit. Students learned how early settlers used simple machines to aid in their journey. I created an Online Simple Machines Scavenger Hunt using HTML codes and hosted by Geocities and during one session (1 hour) at the computer lab the students were able to engage themselves in this hunt!
