Introduction // Student Work // Photos // Lesson Handouts

Introduction
After learning how to use Inspiration and organizing their data, the students started on their Power Points. I had step-by-step instructions to set up the Power Point and how to create the 7 slides. I gave mini-lessons on how to create text boxes, upload images, and create titles. Once the 7 slides were created, students used their Inspiration Mind Maps to begin inputting their information. I gave mini-lessons on how to create text boxes, upload images, and create titles. Students also had a Power Points Tips hand-out. Student were free to design the Power Point the way they wanted which resulted in very creative presentations. Students had to follow basic guidelines such as having a title on each page, text and at least one image. It had to be visually pleasing and well put together. Once the project was completed, the students presented them in class. This project is also explained in the narrative section.
