• T h e • D a r k • S t a r s • o f • P e r s i a • Sometimes it seems like the Dark Stars of Persia have been together in one form or another for as far back as anyone can remember. But then Lori reminds us, "But most of our friends are alcoholics and they don't remember much." Kidding aside, seeing the Dark Stars of Persia perform is something no one can seem to forget very easily.
Each of the Dark Stars considers themselves primarily guitarists but, as each are multi-instrumentalists, they each take a turn in the different musical roles the band requires. Liz says "It keeps things fresh having three distinct and equal voices in one band."

The Dark Stars of Persia are currently working on new material and taking a much needed break from touring. Chandra says a studio album is in the works: "The title track blends my interest in classical Indian music with Liz's hard rockin' attitude and Lori's folk aesthetic."
