Yes, that's right. As it went, immediately after I took that picture of Tighe's homemade shuttle, my Manchester Terrier, Douglas, got a hold of it and really showed it "what for". After the tears had been shed, I saw the bright side- at least I had gotten a good picture!! What is kind of funny about this whole disaster, is that Tighe originally was going to try to carve me a shuttle out of bone. So where did he find a bone? You got it, it was Doug's old chew bone. That didn't last very long, Tighe said it was too hard and it smelled AWFUL! So he gave up that project and got some maple wood instead. You'd expect Doug to chew a bone shuttle, but I guess we weren't any safer using wood instead! Such a tragedy. Such a waste. Back
