A test shot to see whether the nebulosity of this object could be captured in light polluted region |
Comments after test :
When being shot, M45 had moved in the very severely light polluted region in the low western sky. So, didn't give too much expectation on the final quality. Just wanted to see whether any nebulosity of it could be captured at this focal length under such a so poor sky conditions.
I think more nebulosity can be captured next time when the M45 rises from the eastern sky of less light pollution in help with a LPS.
However, it is seemed that focal length of 800mm is too long for this object. That gives a too large image scale for degree sized objects IMO.
