This is a pretty cool sound demo that's from the java sun website. I'm not positive where, but if you go to their site and look for audio/sound, you'll find it. But it's pretty neat. It has a keyboard midi synthesizer, a cool rhythm box, and some sampling stuff.

A free super full-featured IDE. How can you beat that? But what's the difference between this and the open source NetBeans IDE that this is built off of? Is this relationship sort of like Mozilla and Netscape? I don't know, but for now I'm using the Sun One Studio. I had to expand my memory from 128M to 256M to use it properly. There are also a ton of modules you can add on to it that look really cool. The refactoring module definitely caught my eye. Unfortunately, its probably hard to get my already existing apps integrated with this. I don't have the link where I downloaded it handy, but it wasn't off the java site, but somewhere on the sun site. I'm sure you could google it.
