program changes to note! |

INTRODUCTION
As our team evolves so does our program. We have added and
changed many elements within the Technosport program. Please
review the summary below and read the
Members
Fees and Swim Plans
for programs offered to help you achieve your goals. This will
also help you understand the total Technosport program.
To date, I have met with and registered about 70 participants so
far and have yet to meet and register about 70 more
participants, who have verbally committed to the program. We
have 140 committed and need 10 more new recruits. If you have
only verbally committed but changed your mind please let me know
ASAP so we can open up your spot to a new recruit. (Note: all
registrations must be finalized by Aug. 18th.)
RECRUITMENT...the time tested best way to recruit is
through you, "the current membership".
SWIMMING
-
addition of optional 2-hour practices, Monday and Wednesday
mornings, will be of great benefit for distance swimmers and
Ironmen**
-
addition of optional skills and drills practice Friday
morning will benefit those who want that little extra help
for starts, turns and strokes**
-
reduction of swim meets from eleven to six will allow for
more long course Saturday training and less volunteer timing
for meets
RUNNING GROUP
SPINNING
-
regular spinning of 40 one-hour sessions integrated with a
comprehensive Technosport program every Wednesday evening
and every second Sunday morning
-
addition of endurance spinning of 5 two-hour sessions at the
end of the 40 sessions**
-
addition of fitness spinning of 12 one-and-half-hour
sessions for cross training your swimming program to gain
additional fitness**
SKILLS AND DRILLS MINI CAMPS
"THE T-3 SERIES": TECHNOSPORT TRIATHLON RACE PREPARATION
SERIES OF CAMPS**
-
10 sessions of four hours each to prepare the triathlete for
swim, cycle, run, transitions, nutrition, peaking and
tapering for the triathlon season
WEIGHT TRAINING
WEIGHT LOSS, NUTRITION AND WELLNESS
YOGA**
PERSONAL COACHING
-
Various plans available to all Technosport athletes... "Incorporating
a healthy and winning lifestyle into a busy schedule"

Performance is based on specific training—doing the
right and least amount of training to bring continual
improvement.
-
Technosport ensures specificity and establishment of a means
of measurement, with an athlete's involvement, to
continually evaluate seasonal and long term goals.
-
The seasonal training plan focuses on immediate
objectives and training volumes, to ensure the athletes know
where they are going—input from the athlete in the planning
process is necessary for total commitment to the plan.
-
Measurement and testing for heart rate zones and/or
power output are encouraged in the progress toward race
goals.
-
Science, heart rate, power meter or other standard
objective measures of intensity monitors development—vague
description of intensity from training partners,
inexperience and enthusiasm often cloud actual performance.
