When I looked up the event list for the Quebec provincials, I noticed something was missing: there were no 100,000m event. So I thought to myself, why not tailor my own?

Kidding aside, it’s with great pride that I announce my participation to the second Foresters^TM Big Swim for Arthritis scheduled for April 2007 when I will attempt to swim 100 km indoors over a 10-day period.

Most of you are aware of my passion for ultra-long distance swimming, and as athletes, you are well aware that proper preparation is the key any undertaking. It’s with this frame of mind that I wish to encourage all swimmers to continue working hard in pursuing their goals as well.

For those going to Québec City, I also encourage you to take the time to enjoy the experience fully. Although our team’s name is Technosport, it could easily be mistaken for FUNosport, or TechnoFUN at times.
