New program additions last year
greatly enhanced wellness, fitness and competitive levels for our
participants. We have, once again, added more programs this
year."
Weekly skills and drills
sessions were a great opportunity to have one of our 40 coaches
enhance the technique of many swimmers. We have added a Tuesday
evening session.
Two hour swim practices in the
morning were perfect for many of our distance swimmers and Ironmen.
We have added two evening long distance sessions.
Bern Chartrand has developed
into a great running coach and the participants are running
farther faster easier and injury free. Running continues again for
next year.
New this year is weekly DVD swim
technique stroke analysis conducted by Coach Duane Jones.
Membership asked for it and we are proud to provide it with the
new equipment acquired.
Andy Shelp has no equal in his

Coach Duane Jones, Doctorate in
Exercise and Wellness brings 40 years of coaching elite and beginner
athletes, some to World Championship and Olympic Games. But, a
special passion of mine has been to work with the adult participant
in weight loss, anti aging and health management. In fact, happily,
the greatest area of growth over the past year has been the group
health and wellness seminars, swimming camps around the country and
internet coaching to athletes worldwide.
