This time of year is the busiest for the team with registration for next year, Awards Banquet Preparations and Nationals wind down with preparations for Triathlon Races.

It is important for all to know that Technosport is like a ship with a captain and a crew. You are the crew and give your all to help make the team sail. My special thanks to you all for being such a great crew. There are no passengers on our team!!!!

We are adding a new Award this year...The Team Spirit Award...this is your chance to pick a worthy candidate. I can't because I am not in the locker room or at the out of pool team functions...you are!!

The theme at the banquet is about each one of you at PLAY-WORK-HOME!!
Please email me 3 photos one of each that shows you at WORK and PLAY and HOME. We will include it during our slide show at the banquet. Even if you are not attending the banquet we would like your photos so that we can put a name to the face which helps us with team unity.

Some thoughts on Nationals from the Grande Dame of Technosport

Technosport sent a large very dedicated team to Nationals. Each and every swimmer did their best according to their personal circumstances. The feeling on the deck with everyone cheering and encouraging each and every swimmer is what make ours such a great club. The relays were great fun with everyone swimming in many relays. A great job done by all.

Highlights of the meet:

• Louis David Bonneau did a Canadian record in the 200 IM
• Two relay teams 160+ 4x 50 Med (Gerry Parrenti, Scott Dick, Tomas and Stepan Oliva) and the 120+ 4 x 50 Free (Gerry Parrenti, Louis David Bonneau, Scott Dick and Stepan Oliva) did Canadian records
• Paull Leamen did OR records in 200 Free, 400 Free, 800 Free and 1500 Free. Mike Heath Eves also broke the same records and these two plus Mike Olsen all broke the Tech records in the same events.
• There were 87 Tech records broken!!!!The women did 30 while the men did 57. I will get updated records out soon.
