Here's the summer update! For those of you who are interested or whatever, here's a link to an earlier version of this page. The pix of me (and of Poncho Sanchez below) were taken by John Carvalho when we went to the Hollywood Bowl this year for the Playboy Jazz Festival this year for Jazz Review. John has a slideshow available on his own website I moved to Long Beach in late '02. So far so good--I love the ocean breezes. It's cheaper here than in L.A, another plus. Been to Ohio twice this year--as much as the previous two years combined--and played a couple of shows. Here's the Ted Kane discography, and I also have a couple pages devoted to Ted Kane & the Beardsmiths with the Hawthorne Effectlive in concert back on 1/8/01. The complete recording of this event is now available for purchase, as are Ted Kane II & III When was the last time you looked at the Cat & Gertie Show? R.I.P Gertie...she died earlier this year.
