Report Card: Calming down your parents after seeing report card!

Problem
well i’m suppossed to get my report card soon in the mail, and i think i may have done pretty bad. I need some tips on how to calm down my parents when they find out how bad i did. I don’t think i've failed any courses, it’s just that i go to a private school, and they’re REALLY strict on these kinda things, so PLEASE HELP!!! -AMY

Report cards. It is definitly that time of year. Well, what I think you have to do is just relax. You haven’t recieved your card yet, so you never know, you may even surprise yourself. The main thing is that you tried your best. (you did, didnt you?) If you didn’t, then that is reason for your parents to be upset with you. I mean they only want the best for you, so knowing that you aren’t trying for your marks, when they are spending money to give you a great education. So, when your card comes, explain to them your situation, and I am sure they will be understanding.
