To my knowledge there are currently only 13 episodes of this Britcom. I hope there will be more but who knows? Unfortunately this is an incomplete list. If anyone out there has any information to add... Such as names and roles of GUEST STARS, EPISODE SUMMARIES and whether or not there is a THIRD SERIES coming... Please let me know.



SERIES ONE

Episode 1.1: Pilot (Zenith Communications Summary)

Louise, doesn't seem to have much luck with men. She envies the apparent success of best friend Carla, who has a sad-sounding character called Dave in tow, and even menopausal mother Liz, has just married a macho Italian called Fab.

Dave fears that Carla is cheating on him and cries on Louise's shoulder. In fact, everyone is using her as a personal agony aunt these days. Now, when Louise is suddenly rushed to the hospital, are her pains internal or external?

Lonely Louise needs a man and Dave's friend seems perfect. But how to arrange a meeting that won't seem like a set up? Carla has the answer... Throw a dinner party but invite recently single Rose to throw him off. But who are all these other guests that keep appearing?

Liz claims to have found the perfect man for Louise. He's intelligent... handsome... and he has a past. Can Louise possibly compete with what his ex-girlfriend has to offer? Carla is torn between advancing her career or starting a family when Dave suddenly announces he wants children.

Episode 1.6

Carla tries to cheer up Louise on her 29th birthday. Liz wants to start a family with Fab, but can't proceed unless Louise agrees to help.

SERIES TWO

Episode 2.1

Everyone deals with Fabs sudden departure. Louise finds a man in the most unlikely place, but is afraid to pursue a relationship because of the scandal it may cause. Will the fates work for or against her?

Episode 2.2

Louise and Carla decide to get in shape until they meet their fitness instructor. Dave and Liz collaborate to save rare orchids from certain doom.

Episode 2.3

A man who seems to have everything to offer woos Louise. But, a problem arises when she tries to take him to the bedroom... He won't go. Everybody is more than willing to give her advice, but is Louise smart enough to listen?

Episode 2.4

Louise and Carla set up a blind date for Liz... An environmentalist named Graham. Horror ensues when Liz and Graham actually hit it off. Dave can't help but say "I told you so."

Episode 2.5

Graham moves in with Liz and when Louise objects... she is sent walking. But that's okay because recently evicted Rose moves in to keep Louise company. Carla is so busy with her career she neglects Dave.

Episode 2.6

Louise is temporarily rendered homeless and must live with the "variety pack from hell"... Her mother, Graham and Rose. Rose, whom Liz has been counseling, seems to be making real progress. But how long can that possibly last?

Episode 2.7

Louise's former flame Geoff (HARRY BURTON) returns... But for how long? Will their one night of passion have lasting effects? Will they get back together? Or will it be just like Carla says--a quick shag and a ride to the airport?

DRESSING FOR BREAKFAST airs in CANADA periodically on WTN (Women's Television Network) Check your local listings. In the UK DRESSING FOR BREAKFAST is shown on CHANNEL 4. I don't believe it is being shown in the USA yet, unless it is being shown on COMEDY CENTRAL.
