Nothing is ever quite as it seems on a film set. This little post office may look normal enough, but it's just part of the set - the red notice over the post box informs people not to post letters there - the real post office is on the other side of the river. There's also a slight difference in the Gaelic spelling of Ballykissangel. Here it's 'Baile Coisc Aingil', on the school sign it's 'Aingeal'.
