630 KHOW Denver Radio Interview

Aug 1, 2002 - I was a guest on the Peter Boyles Show, on 630AM KHOW Radio in Denver. Discussion revoled around the theology of "Heavenly Deception" and Moon's desire to create a One World Theocracy, or government ruled by religious authority, which Moon believes he and his descendants are destined to rule.

Moon's 50-state U.S. tour continues, but not without protest.

I was a guest on a large Christian Radio station in Milwaukee, which has taken the lead in exposing the heresies and lies of Moon's teachings and along with several local Pastors. They are encouraging clergy not to allow Moon to speak in their churches. They have successful encouraged one church against allowing Moon to speak there, and Moon's people had to change the location to a hotel ballroom. When the media asked the Unification Church about it, they claimed there had been a bomb threat. The media checked with all local authorities and NO BOMB THREAT had been reported. Possibly more "Heavenly Deception" which allows members of Moon's church to lie and deceive, as long as it is for a "good" purpose. Additionally, it has been reported that a Pastor in Mobile, Alabama was fired for allowing Moon to speak in his church. Moon's teachings and beliefs are contrary to scripture and his influence is like a cancer slowly spreading through the Christian churches. Moon has apparently been passing out Gift Certificates for hand-crafted Gold Watches made by Moon-connected "Christian Bernard Jewelers" to those ministers who are assisting him in getting into these churches. Is a Gold watch worth betraying Jesus for?

Moon on US tour with Christian leaders

In a shameful display, many Christian ministers are part of a 50 state, U.S. tour with self-proclaimed messiah Sun Myung Moon to speak on family values issues. Aside from the irony of Moon speaking on family values, when he has fathered children from 4 different women and been twice divorced and by many accounts, fathered several children from adultery, what is more disturbing to me, as a Christian, is that these "ministers" are travelling with a man who claims that Jesus Christ's life was a failure, that Jesus was the bastard son of an adulterous affair, that Jesus was a coward and unloved as a son, by God, and that Moon himself has accomplished 1000 times more than Jesus ever did. This is what Moon teaches, and I can refer anyone who asks to the quotes where he makes these statements and teaches these things. How a Christian minister could participate with an anti-christ is beyond me. But rest assured, there is a God in Heaven who sees all we do, and knows why. The tour can be found at this Website

Moonies Buy Entire Town in Paraguay

Moon has now bought huge tracts of land in Brazil, South Korea and now Paraguay. The land in Paraguay is over 300,000 hectares. It encompasses an entire town and the 6000 residents are not happy about it. Moon seeks to build his own small nation, and has 3 sites now from which to choose. This is alarming and smells of Jonestown. Article

Moon paid 3.5 Billion to North Korea

According to a Robert Parry article, government documents claim that Moon invested heavily in North Korea at a time they were seeking to build nuclear weapons capability. Read this disturbing article, and the implications for the George W. Bush candidacy Here

Moon and Wife plead Guilty

Moon and his wife are having legal troubles in Alaska. They were caught exceeding the legal limit for Salmon and were cited by Fish and Wildlife Protection troopers who were acting on a tip. The charges are only misdemeanors. Moon and his wife originally pleaded not guilty, but then changed their plea to guilty. However, they (or their lawyers) are facing having to appear a second time in court over the matter because the lawyer who represented the Moons the first time, was suspended from practicing law during this time, while under an ethics investigation. Hmm...birds of a feather? See the links to the stories, below right in "In The Headlines" section.

Moonie Programs in our Public Schools?

In what is becoming a major story, sources including have uncovered that PLA or Pure Love Alliance is being used for religious purposes by the Moonies both in and related to many public schools in America. PLA, whose stated cause is the promotion of abstinence based education for minors, is an organization which claims to be independent of the Unification Church though it was founded and is managed by members of Moon's church. PLA curriculum is being taught in an estimated 61 public schools in Chicago. Additionally, the President of PLA Robert Kittel in a statement, declared that PLA was not being used to proselytize for Moon, or for religious activities of the Unification Church. Both these claims are false. In fact, not only is the PLA being used in connection with many other moonie activities and front-groups, but Sun Myung Moon himself in a recent speech to his members declared that the PLA would become a central tool in accomplishing his future plans of a mass-marriage or "Blessing" of 400 million couples. The Unification Church has even coined a new term to describe this religious effort: PLA Blessings. The term "blessing" in the Unification Church means marriages that are sanctioned by Sun Myung Moon. Everyone can recall the mass-marriage spectacles for which the moonies are so well known. Now here is Moon, declaring that this central rite of their church is what Moon seeks to accomplish through PLA and it's relationships within public schools. This should be a cause for alarm for ANY parent with a child in the public school system.

France Says: "No!"

The government of France is taking a bold stand against the ability of cults to abuse and harm lives under the guise of religious freedom. France is introducing laws which would make "mental manipulation" by cults a crime punishable with up to 2 years in prison. Interestingly, France has condemned President Clinton for what it calls his "shocking" White House support for Scientologists and Moonies, which were mentioned explicitly. France is pointing out what we have long realized at Xmoonies. Cults are infiltrating the highest levels of government and the media in order to further their agendas under the blind eye of most Americans. As France so rightly questioned, how can America speak of religious freedoms, when many so-called religions deny their members even the most basic of human rights?

Moonies Acquire UPI

May has become a dark month in the field of journalism. News World Communications, a Moonie held company has acquired UPI (United Press International) which is the chief competition of The Associated Press. UPI is the employer of the famed Helen Thomas, White House correspondent who has covered 8 Presidents. To her credit, Thomas quit her position, saying she would not work for UPI's new owners. While that news is encouraging, there is a much more ominous advantage for Sun Myung Moon's empire: Ownership in UPI comes with a guaranteed seat on Air Force One in the Press Section of the President's plane. That means the Moonies will be regularly in close proximity to the President, with the ability to have his ear on his own plane.

(TWO-PART SERIES) Mato Grasso do Sul, Brazil is a remote and isolated region of South America known for it's natural beauty and varied wildlife. It is also now, the site of Sun Myung Moon's professed Garden of Eden. In an eerie and disturbing similarity, decades earlier another self-proclaimed religious leader, Jim Jones, also sought to move his followers to an isolated region of South America to establish a communal project his followers called The Garden Of Eden. Unfortunately, the similarities don't end there. Will the Moon cult meet the same suicidal and murderous end that the Jones cult did? It is not unthinkable. Chapter Seven Part 2

Blessed children surpass their parents.

"To bear children rooted in God and True Parents (Ed: Moon and his wife, are called the "True Parents") is more exalted than Mary's bearing the Messiah. The blessed children born of you are better than Jesus, for whom God prepared 4,000 years."

God's Day 1990 Morning Address

"Jesus never achieved a thousandth of what Father has done. In his (Ed: Jesus) two years and eight months of public ministry, he didn't even establish the national foundation. Now, Father has established a foundation of worldwide power that is unprecedented in history."

"Jesus and John were like brothers. They were to restore brotherhood. Mary and Elizabeth were sisters. Who was Jesus' father? (Zechariah.) How do you know? (You told us.) I didn't tell you that! (Laughter.) So John the Baptist and Jesus had the same father."

"This is a problem. Israel at that time had a law that children of the same father could not marry. This relationship is incest. Mary had sexual intercourse with the husband of her sister. Elizabeth invited Mary, then Mary made that love relationship. That was how Jesus was conceived."

March 3, 1976 Choongang Training Center Kyungki-do, Korea

"Even Jesus is not in the Kingdom of Heaven. When I saw him, he was in Paradise. Did Jesus, who came in order to liberate the world, fulfill his mission? No, so his mission is not over yet. Since his mission was not completed, he could not be victorious for the liberation of the world and be loved as a son by God. This is the path of the Unification Church today."

Question: What will Jesus' position be after the restoration is accomplished?

Answer: Jesus will be the first and eldest son, because he was the only one who came to this world as the Son of God.

Question: Do you mean God's eldest son, or the Master's?

Answer: The meaning is the same.

"Since American Christian churches have come against Father so adamantly, Father created the Unification Church to replace the Christian world in America. Father invested considerable resources to save America. So now not only this world, but the communist world, the eastern European block, China and N. Korea will all come under Father's wings."

Critical Turning Point Of The Dispensation Of God

"The Unification Church has become so precious in the sight of God that He will say, "Satan, do you want a world? Okay, take the world, for it is crumbling anyway. Do you want a church? Take Christianity. But you cannot touch the Unification Church."

Master Speaks 7, page 1

"Until our mission with the Christian church is over, we must quote the Bible and use it to explain the Divine Principle. After we receive the inheritance of the Christian church, we will be free to teach without the Bible".

Unification Church Related Item01-14-2003 Moon Shadow - The Rev, Bush & North Korea

When President Bush added North Korea to his list of "Axis of Evil" nations, the influence of the self-declared reincarnation of Jesus Christ, the "Reverend" Sun Myung Moon of the Unification Church, loomed largely over the White House decision-making process. The decision by Bush to throw into the trash heap of history eight years of a joint American-South Korean-Japanese dialogue with the reclusive Communist regime would ultimately result in Pyongyang returning to using the rhetoric of bygone years. Just as the Bush administration reintroduced to regular use the terms "segregation," "civil rights," and "ban on abortions," the terms "demilitarized zone," "Panmunjom," and "38th parallel" would also re-enter the American political lexicon.

Bush, a self-described "born again Christian" who has maintained close links to Moon, hired David Frum as one of his speechwriters. Frum apparently came up with the term "axis of evil" for Bush's 2002 State of the Union address but it seems likely that Bush, heavily influenced by the propagandists of the rabidly anti-Pyongyang Washington Times, decided North Korea's "Dear Leader" Kim Jong Il was Satan reincarnate. Years before North Korea announced it was restarting its nuclear enrichment facility at Yongbyon, The Washington Times splashed front page headlines about North Korea being a threat while other major newspapers and wire services treated the sensationalistic reports as a non-story or more probably, plain disinformation masked as "intelligence reports" and "leaked" by anti-Clinton Pentagon officials.

For twenty years, Moon's main policy laundering enterprise for his incessant influence-peddling has been The Washington Times, the money-losing newspaper he owns outright through New World Communications, Inc., the paper's parent publishing company. New World also owns Insight Magazine, The Middle East Times (based in Cairo), Zambezi Times (based in Lusaka, Zambia), newspapers in Uruguay and Canada, a textbook publishing company in Russia, and United Press International, the formerly well-respected wire service that fell on hard financial times and was bailed out by Moon's seemingly unlimited cash flows.

Next year, an Insight magazine reporter is poised to take over as President of the venerable National Press Club in Washington. Thus, in a presidential election year, a Moon employee will have influence on what politicians and candidates are selected for televised luncheon speeches carried by C-SPAN and other cable news networks. Democrats and Greens should be very wary. Some former Washington Times officials claim The Washington Times and its affiliates are so tied in with Moon's agenda, its reporters and staff should register with the Justice Department as foreign lobbyists under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

Unification Church Related Item05-28-2001 Vows Taken, Broken Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo, who has tangled with the Vatican over faith healing and exorcism, has challenged the Roman Catholic Church again, marrying a Korean doctor yesterday in a group wedding overseen by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon.

Milingo, 71, who once led an archdiocese in Lusaka, Zambia, wed Maria Sung, 43, a specialist in acupuncture, in a ceremony involving 60 couples at the New York Hilton in Manhattan. Moon, founder of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, chose the bride for Milingo, as is his custom. It was unknown where the couple planned to honeymoon, and Milingo said where he and Sung will live is "God's providence."

In marrying, Milingo, who wore a black tuxedo rather than his priestly vestments, broke the priest's vow of celibacy, which almost certainly will result in his excommunication from the Church. That, he said, meant "nothing to him."

Born in 1930 in a village in eastern Zambia, Milingo was illiterate until the age of 12, and so poor that he has said he only tried on his first pair of shoes when he turned 18.

But after studying theology, philosophy and the social sciences, he became a Catholic priest 10 years later.

Unification Church Related Item05-26-2001 Bishop to Be Married by Moon, Vatican Seeks Word The Vatican said on Saturday it was waiting for maverick Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo to clarify his intentions after the church of Reverend Sun Myung Moon said it would preside over the bishop's marriage to a Korean.

An official Vatican source said Milingo, a controversial faith healer who also practices exorcism, would be automatically excommunicated if the marriage went ahead, but made it clear the issue was not a criticism of Reverend Moon or of his followers.

Unification Church Related Item05-15-2001 Hell Hath No Fury . . . Years ago, the flamboyant George A. Stallings Jr. was a Catholic priest sworn to celibacy. Then the Church excommunicated him in 1990 for doctrinal heresy amid reports that he'd been having sex with men since the 1970s, including a long-term live-in lover who had worked as his pastoral assistant. But now Archbishop Stallings of the African American Catholic Congregation -- the breakaway religious movement he founded in 1989 -- is apparently a ladies' man in a clerical collar.

Linda Greene, "longtime companion" to Archbishop George Stallings, left, issued a press release saying Stallings plans to marry another woman at the urging of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. (File Photos)

"I have been plagued by women scorned," Stallings told us yesterday in a brief interview before he abruptly ended the conversation.

Last Thursday, we hear, the 53-year-old Stallings informed Washington PR executive Linda Greene, who calls herself his "longtime companion," that he is dumping her to wed a 24-year-old Japanese woman at the behest of Unification Church leader Sun Myung Moon. The 49-year-old Greene has issued a press release declaring that she will not attend the wedding -- apparently to be held in Washington with the Rev. Moon and Mrs. Moon officiating -- but that she "wishes the Archbishop and his new family well."

Sun Myung Moon, founder of the Unification Church, is being lambasted by a local Christian radio station and embraced by a national coalition of pastors as he prepares for a rally in Milwaukee next week.

Is the 81-year-old Moon a second Adam, a messiah chosen by God to complete what Jesus left undone?

Known for declaring himself a messiah and performing mass wedding ceremonies, Moon has stirred up some controversy during his tour. In Oakland, Calif., Moon said that only when men and women procreate are they fully human, which some interpreted as a slam on homosexuals and women without children.

Unification Church Related Item03-13-2001 Rev. Moon's event raises local hackles Tonight's prayer dinner designed to bring religious faiths together has upset some Christians because the controversial Rev. Sun Myung Moon is the keynote speaker.

The Arizona Ecumenical Council, which represents 700 Protestant churches in Arizona, would not have been a sponsor for "America Come Together" if its leaders had known the Unification Church founder was a speaker and the main sponsor, said the Rev. Paul Eppinger, executive director of the council.

Eppinger said he is uncomfortable about the ties to Moon but will attend anyway.

Unification Church Related Item03-13-2001 Rev. Moon delivers message in Oakland The Rev. Sun Myung Moon made his first Bay Area appearance in five years Monday night in Oakland, where the controversial minister made calls for racial and religious harmony as well as for a restoration of family values.

Speaking to a crowd of about 1,500 at the Oakland Convention Center, the 81-year-old Moon spoke often about the themes of love and family. With many audience members visibly moved by his presence, Moon called upon listeners to place family as a priority.

Moon, who spoke in Korean with a translator, proclaimed that couples who have children are a true family. ``You must produce children in God's eyes to produce a family,'' Moon said.

"I have transcended race, ideology and national boundaries to pursue a movement for one world under God," Moon told more than 700 people gathered at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday night.

Unification Church Related Item03-09-2001 Local pastors welcome Moon - Pro-family theme of rally obscures theological divide The Rev. Sun Myung Moon shared the pulpit with Baptist clergy Thursday night at a Minneapolis church rally for restoring the family. ``If you go to the spirit world, you won't be able to find your denomination, only one family under God,'' said Moon, founder of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, commonly known as the Unification Church. ``This split is causing the divisiveness of the human family.''

Moon spoke for two hours -- mostly in Korean with an English-language translator -- to a predominantly African-American and Asian crowd of about 600.

The scene at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church is being repeated every night throughout the country: Largely African-American religious communities are welcoming Moon as he visits 49 cities in 51 days.

``Really? Whoa!'' said Bruce Forbes, chairman of the religious studies department at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, and a part-time Minneapolis resident.

``It doesn't surprise me that the Unification Church would do this. They want to mainstream themselves into respectability. It surprises me that you've got Baptist ministers sponsoring it.''

Unification Church Related Item03-03-2001 Rev. Moon talks of U.S. decline Controversial Unification Church founder the Rev. Sun Myung Moon told an audience in a North Philadelphia church last night that Americans and their nation have been declining since the end of World War II "because they didn't recognize the truth that was brought to them by Rev. Moon."

"The truth I'm sharing with you tonight. This is the ultimate truth, directly from God," Mr. Moon, 81, told an audience of several hundred at the Christian Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.

Unification Church Related Item03-02-2001 Moon to lead session on faith-based programs In a case of strange bedfellows, a lineup of mainstream religious leaders will gather today in a Pentecostal church for a faith-based initiatives conference led by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, controversial founder of the Unification Church.

Mr. Moon's forces organized the North Philadelphia event, and he will be its keynote speaker.

Among local figures on the program are the Rev. W. Wilson Goode, who is spearheading the Street administration's faith-based initiatives; William Devlin, president of the evangelical Urban Family Council; and Phyllis Bennett, the state welfare department's liaison to religious groups.

Mr. Moon, 81, created the Unification Church in Korea and brought it to this country in the 1970s. Growth was rapid for a time, but the church's hard-sell tactics - and its teaching that Mr. Moon is the messiah - caused critics to accuse it of brainwashing.

In recent years, the aging leader has taken steps to win mainstream acceptance. The church was replaced by an entity called the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, and its public agenda became marriage and family values.

Critics of President Bush's support of faith-based social programs have held out the Unification Church as a prime example of the sort of fringe religion that might now qualify for government contracts. Indeed, Mr. Moon's movement is preparing to apply for federal funds for its sexual-abstinence programs in schools, and today's event will begin with a panel talk on faith-based initiatives.

Unification Church Related Item10-11-2000 Rev. Moon, North Korea & the Bushes The Rev. Sun Myung Moon's business empire, which includes the conservative Washington Times, paid millions of dollars to North Korea's communist leaders in the early 1990s when the hard-line government needed foreign currency to finance its weapons programs, according to U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency documents.

The payments included a $3 million “birthday present” to current communist leader Kim Jong Il and offshore payments amounting to “several tens of million dollars” to the previous communist dictator, Kim Il Sung, the partially declassified documents said.

Moon apparently was seeking a business foothold in North Korea. But the transactions also raise legal questions for Moon and could cast a shadow on George W. Bush’s presidential campaign, given the Bush family’s longstanding financial and political ties to Moon and his organization.

The Illinois Caucus For Adolescent Health (ICAH) cites PLA's presence in the schools as an example of CPS's failure to provide a sound method of providing sexuality education, and calls on Mayor Richard M. ICAH has the support of a broad network, including the Reverend Jesse Jackson, the Illinois PTA, the Health and Medicine Policy Research Group, Dr. Lisa Henry-Reid of Cook County Hospital, Planned Parenthood of Chicago, the Illinois Women's Health Coalition, and the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.

"Our children should not be taught a medically inaccurate curriculum in Chicago Public Schools," said the Reverend Jesse Jackson, CEO, Rainbow Coalition. "I am troubled that the Pure Love Alliance may be targeting African-American, low-income communities with a message of fear and shame."

"They offered me the same contract as I had as editor in chief at The Washington Times from 1985-1991, which stipulated total editorial freedom without any interference from ownership," de Borchgrave said. During sale negotiations, de Borchgrave said he kept in regular contact last week and over the weekend with Thomas, 79, who had indicated to him that she would stay on if he did. After Mr. Hammerstein's death in 1919, ownership of the Manhattan Opera House eventually passed to the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, which renamed it the Manhattan Center. In midcentury, it served as a meeting hall for unions and for political groups.

The Unification Church bought it in 1976 and renamed the old opera space the Hammerstein Ballroom. By then, major structural changes had taken place: a new ceiling had been built beneath the third balcony; the box seats had been torn out; and a meeting hall called the Grand Ballroom had been added above the original theater.

Gordon Neufeld Book: Heartbreak and RageHeartbreak and Rage: Ten Years Under Sun Myung Moon, a Cult Survivor's Memoir is a new book written by former Unification Church member K. Gordon Neufeld. As an intelligent and educated Canadian youth, a 2 week vacation to San Francisco turned into a 10 year enslavement to Sun Myung Moon, through the deceptive mind control techniques employed against him. Gordon details his experiences as a flower and candy peddler, filling Moon's coffers, being "matched" by Sun Myung Moon, who selected his wife, his participation in Moon's famous mass marriage ceremony, his rise to church leadership training in Moon's Unification Theological Seminary, and his eventual freedom and recovery from his abusive cult experiences, which left him with a desire to use his love of writing to help educated others to the horrors of destructive cult groups like the Moonies.

Gordon's book is filled with gripping, painful and sometimes humorous accounts, that will leave the reader, shocked, saddened and ultimately enlightened to the truth that Moon and his minions would rather keep hidden, as they seek to advance Moon's agenda of world dominion under his personal direction.
