Jacobi Wynne
was bitten by the acting bug after playing the wolf in a high-school production
of "Pinocchio." After graduation, he studied with Adilah Barnes and began
honing his skills on stage. He made his theatrical debut in the L.A. Theatre
Centre's "Love in the Riots." Additional stage credits include roles in
"The Amen Corner," "The Colored Museum," and "The Bread Winner" at the
Pasadena Playhouse.
Wynne's television
credits include a guest-starring role in "Crossroads Cafe" for PBS. Film
roles include an AFI project entitled "While You Were Out" and "Cruz,"
an independent feature starring Alyssa Milano and Brendan Fraser.
For Wynne,
playing a track star on "Push" will not be difficult. He was a standout
on his high school track team in the 4 X 100 relay, the 220, the high jump
and the long jump, in which he competed in the California state finals.
He has also been skiing since the age of five, learning on the slopes of
the Austrian Alps where his father was stationed in the army. Wynne is
still a certified ski instructor, and he enjoys weightlifting and mountain
biking.
