Angie Harmon

Assistant District Attorney Abbie Carmichael

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Angie Harmon has spent most of her life in front of a camera. Both of her parents are models and she began modeling when she was a baby. At the age of 15, Harmon beat out 63,000 entrants to win "Seventeen" magazine’s cover model contest.

After graduating from Highland Park High School in 1990, Harmon traveled between New York and Los Angeles, where she began studying acting. She made her movie debut in director John Duigan’s independent film "Lawn Dogs" in which she appeared opposite Sam Rockwell. The film screened at both the Toronto Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival.

Harmon made her network television series debut starring opposite Eric Roberts for one season as the rookie member of the FBI’s elite crime unit on "C-16."

An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Harmon is also a nature lover with dreams of establishing a children’s ranch in West Texas to give underprivileged city youth an outdoor experience. She is single and divides her time between Los Angeles and New York. Her birthday is August 10.
