RACHEL
Have you thought about Cameron?

CARL
Cameron?

RACHEL
Cameron. He's a private investigator.

CARL
Yes, but do we want the family involved in this?

RACHEL
Carl, you're part of this family. Whatever involves you, involves the rest of us.

CARL
I don't know if Amanda will be excited about Cameron working for me.

RACHEL
I'll take care of Amanda. You talk to Cameron.

REMY is walking out of Carlino's. TITO grabs her and pulls her away from the door.

REMY
Tito! What are you doing?

TITO
I just didn't want Paulina to see us talking.

REMY
I have nothing to say to you.

TITO
Then just listen.

REMY
I don't want to listen to anything you have to say.

Remy begins to walk away and Tito grabs her arm

TITO
Please, Rem. You're the only person I can turn to right now.

REMY
(pauses)
Make it quick.

TITO
Thank you. Look, I know I did some unforgiveable things.

REMY
Unforgiveable? What you did was reprehensible.

TITO
Please believe me when I tell you I never wanted to hurt you.

REMY
I'm having a little trouble with that. What exactly did you think would happen, Tito? Did you think I'd be overjoyed that you used me and that you used Paulina? Did you think I'd appreciate knowing that you took my mother away from me?

TITO
It wasn't supposed to go down like that. When I first went to meet Paulina, pretending to be her child, I did it for you, Remy.

REMY
(laughing and shaking her head)

TITO

REMY

TITO

What time did Chis say he would be here?

TONI
Five minutes ago.

ETTA MAE
That boy has got to learn how to be on time. I wouldn't be surprised if he's late for his own wedding.

CHRIS runs in to the Lucky Lady

CHRIS
I heard that. (he kisses Toni) I'm sorry I'm late. Jake gave me some last minute assignment as I was leaving. So, have you guys already planned the whole wedding?

KC
Not yet, but we're getting there.

CHRIS
You ladies work fast. I wasn't even aware we'd set a date yet.

TONI
I was thinking an early fall wedding would be nice.

CHRIS
That soon?

ETTA MAE
(laughing)
He's already suffering from the pre-wedding jitters.

CHRIS
I am not. I just want to make sure everything is perfect. And that we have plenty of time to get everything in order for the wedding.

KC
Well you guys can have the reception here, or the Harbor Club.

CHRIS
Whatever Toni wants is fine with me.

ETTA MAE
(To KC)
I think we should give them a minute alone.

KC
Okay.

Etta Mae and KC walk over to the bar.

TONI
Is something wrong?

CHRIS
Of course not. Like I said, I just want everything to be perfect for you. You deserve nothing less.

TONI
Thank you. So you think fall is too soon?

CHRIS
(kissing Toni)
I'd marry you next week if you wanted.

TONI
When did you become so sweet?

CHRIS
(laughing)
Hey, I've always been sweet. You just didn't want to admit it.

TONI
My mistake. I was just thinking how great its going to be after we finally get married.

CHRIS
I know. And maybe we can even start working on a family and Jake and Vicky's twins will have a playmate.

TONI
(grinning)
Whoa, let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

CHRIS
So how does an August wedding sound?

TONI
Are you serious?

CHRIS
Yes, the more I think about you becoming Mrs. Christopher Madison, the sooner I want to make it legal.

TONI
