en Lindley is the new girl in town.  She has moved to Capeside from her home in New York to help her Grandmother with her ailing Grandfather.  She seems harmless enough, but has an obvious chip on her shoulder.  Her next door neighbor, Dawson Leery, has taken a special interest in her.  She's hesitant about it all, but still goes forward in pursuing a relationship with Dawson.  But she has a terrible secret.  There is more to Jen's past than meets the eye.  She has really come to Capeside for a second chance.  What she does with that second chance will determine the outlook for the rest of her life.
