angelusslayer
Callista, stood in front of the mirror, contemplating her appearance. She had a date with Angel and then she was going over Willows for a night of female bonding. Cordielia was supposed to be there, but unfortunately, Buffy couldn't come. She was grounded *again*.
"Are you ready yet?" Angel stood outside the closed door. It was kind of convient when your boyfriend just happened to live with you.
"In a minute.......be right there." She ran the brush through her hair, grabbed her bag and opened the door for Angel. "So, Angel, what are we doing tonight?"

"Well, I was thinking dinner, then a walk in the park maybe. Since this is the last time we'll see each other for a few days."
Angel was leaving on "business" for a few days. Hence the girl bonding thing. That way Callie wouldn't get too lonely.
"Dinner and the park are great Angel. Some quiet time together."
He offered her his arm and they left together.
Dinner had been great, and now they walked together under a starry sky. They talked quietly of trivial things, school, hobbies, Xander's stupid jokes.
"Angel!" she laughed, "you're 242 years old. You should be able to out-smart-mouth a teenager! You're just too nice. Lay a few good insults on him and he'll see that he's out matched and move on."
"Yeah, but that would just be too cruel. If I said half the things I wanted to say, they'd die of shock.."
"Yeah, they would." She looked into his eyes. "I'm going to miss you."
"I'll miss you." He bent and pressed his lips to hers. He pulled her to him, electric emotion running through him. He loved the feel of her hair, of her lips on his.
Her arms went around his neck pulling him closer still. They stood there for what seemed an eternity before Callie reluctantly pulled away. "I really hate to do this," she whispered, "but I have to be at Willows at 10:15 and it is now 10:10."
"Yeah we'd better go. You know how Willow worries. And I have some place I have to be." He took her hand and they began the walk to Willows's
Angel walked Callie up to the porch and knock on Willows door. Soon the red head opened the door cross in hand, which she immediately hid when she saw Angel wince. "Sorry Angel, can't be to careful. Most vampires aren't as nice as you."
Cordielia appeared behind Willow. "Callie! Great your hear, now we can start gossiping and doing makeovers! Then we can make fun of our boyfriends."
"Hey! There is nothing wrong with us! Okay Xander I'm not so sure of but...." Angel began to rant.
"Okay Angel you can stop before Cordy stakes you." Callie interupted laughing. "Oh well, I'd better go in. See you in a few days." She stood on tip toe and kissed him goodbye. With one last squeeze of the hand, she went inside.
With one last look at the door he left. But somehow he couldn't shake the feeling that when he got back all was not going to be well.
The girls had had fun, laughing and talking. They played truth or dare and Willow and Cordielia found out something about Callista and Angelus that Buffy wouldn't like.
"Callie! I can't believe it! You and Angelus!"
"Cordy! Remember you can't tell anyone, this stays here with us. Okay?"
"Promise."
"Good cause Buffy would kill me if she found out that Angelus and I had .......you know"
Willow couldn't help it. She had to ask. "Was Angelus the only one?"
"Yes, he was, Willow. He was it. The first and the only."
"Cool!"
Soon the topic switched to making fun of their boyfriends and after a while they fell asleep. Later the next night, they met Xander and Oz at the Bronze. The time was spent pleasantly. At the end of the night Callie walked them home, taking Xander home last. The quiet of the night was shattered when a vampire tackled Xander. Quickly Callie pulled a stake from her sleeve and pulled the vampire off Xander. She moved to stake the vampire, when abruptly she froze.
"Hello Callista. Long time no see."
"Alex! I didn't know that you were in Sunnydale."
"Just got in."
"Well, now it's time to get out. Alex, if you were anyone else, I would stake you for attacking my friend. But if you leave now, I let you live."
"All right Callista, I'll back off for now. But I'll be back. Bye Callie."
She watched as the vampire faded into the shadows. She turned to help Xander to his feet. However he shook her off angrily. "I can't believe you let him go! You should have staked him!"
"Xander you don't understand. I....."
"Forget it. We're going to the library and calling the others. We have something to talk about." With that he grabbed her by the wrist, and drug her to the library. She followed too shocked to resist.
Soon the Slayerettes, except for Oz were assembled in the library. All were gazing at Callie with accusing eyes. Xander had filled them in on what had happened and the rest had listened in shock.
Buffy came down on her first. "You let a vampire go? He could have killed Xander and you let him go! What were you thinking! What's wrong with you."
"I'll tell you what wrong," Xander broke in, "She's more loyal to the vampires than us."
Callie tried to explain. "Look, please just listen. I....."
"Risked Xanders' life because of a moment of nostalgia. For love of a dark world full of pain and murder. You were a fool." As Giles condemned her tears began to flow freely from her eyes.
Xander then continued his tirade. "Well, Callista. What's the story? Were you on their side all the time? Waiting for the perfect time to betray us?"
Cordielia broke in. "You could have gotten Xander killed. You just stood there."
"You're nothing but a monster." Xanders voice was laced in venom.
But it was Giles voice that delivered the knock out punch. "Get out."
"What?" Callie's voice expressed her disbelief.
"Get the hell out of my library and don't come back. You're no longer welcome here. GET OUT!"
Blinded by tears Callie turned and fled out into the night.
She ran wildly through the night sobbing hysterically with pain and anger. *They didn't even let me explain. And Xander made it sound like I offered him on a silver platter! Damn them!* She was so lost in her thoughts the she ran right into a passerby.
"Oh, I'm sorry I...." She broke off as she felt the demon in her stir and she could hear the beating of this mans' heart and she could smell his blood and the scent was intoxicating. Before she realized what was happening her face shifted and she sank her teeth into the mans' neck.
Oz hummed as he walked towards the library. He stopped short, however, when he saw a vampire attacking someone. "Oh, man." He pulled out a cross. "Here goes nothing" He ran to the vampire and shoved the cross into it's face. When nothing happened he switched tactics and used the cross to hit the vampiress over the head. It fell to the ground stunned. It glared up at him and they both gasped. Her face shifted to reveal Callie.
"Callie?"
"Oz. Oh God. What did I do?" Without another word she stood and once again ran sobbing into the dark.
