Laura had brought Lesley Lu with her. The girl missed Stefan terribly. Is this why she came, Stefan wondered? When Laura had abandoned Nicholas he wondered what kind of mother she was. She and Nicholas did bond finally. It took a tremendous amount of work on Laura's part and he was impressed. She was a loving mother to LuLu. There was a long awkward silence, and they both stared out at the water.

S Is there something you want to tell me Laura?

Laura jerked around to look at him thinking he'd guessed her secret. The quick motion made her dizzy and she swayed. Stefan grabbed her by the shoulders to steady her.
