| VII. Promotions/Demotions/Reassignments A. All criteria for promotions are explained in Section VIIII of this handbook. B. If an employee chooses, for whatever reason, to take a voluntary demotion or reassignment, Texas Air Cargo will do it's best to accomodate this choice. C. Demotions and reassignments may be made for disciplinary action. Please refer to Section XII of this handbook for further details. VIII. Transfers A. As with voluntary reassignments, Texas Air Cargo will do it's best to accomodate requests for transfer. Please keep in mind that transfers must not disrupt the normal daily business of this VA. VIIII. Rank Structure and Pay Scale A. Please click here to view all rank structure, pay scale, and promotion criteria. B. Each employee will have a probationary period of 10 flight hours upon hiring. C. When an employee purchases an item such as an aircraft or aircraft accesories from Texas Air Cargo, the amount owed will be automatically deducted from their account. If the amount is over $1000, the employee can choose to automatic deductions in the form of loan repayment until the amount is paid in full. X. Vacation A. Texas Air Cargo provides all of it's employees with two and one half days of vacation for every month that the employee has met his or her requirements to stay active with the company. These days may be taken in lieu of a monthly work requirement (i.e. the required one flight per month for pilots), or they may be sold back to the company at the rate of $100 per day. To use or to sell these days, simply e-mail your HC with the request. B. An employee can accrue no more than 30 days of vacation annually. Any vacation days over 30 not used or sold by the employees anniversary date will be lost. No more than 15 days can be sold back within a six month period. XI. Bonuses A. Each employee is eligible for a monthly performance bonus. The bonus is equal to 1% of the employees gross income per month for pilots, and 1/4 of the company's gross income for salaried personnel. XII. Performance Counseling. A. From time to time, HC's and above will do performance counseling. This will help ensure a profitable venture for everyone involved. B. Counseling may also be conducted for disciplinary actions. This counseling can result in a warning, loss of vacation days, suspension, or termination. XIII. Grievances A. All grievances should be handled by your supervisor via e-mail. If you do not get satisfactory results from your supervisor, the CO has an open door policy to handle such matters. |
