I love movies, but I don't watch them as much as I like (or like I used to). Some of my favorites include:

The best TV show ever is "Doctor Who", the British show which is the longest-running sci-fi TV show. It has starred 8 different actors portraying an alien from a planet called Gallifrey who has a ship that travels not only in space, but also in time. This man has the ability to regenerate his body when injured severely. He always fights for good, although he sometimes shouldn't meddle in another planet's development.

Sports? I like sports. My favorite are basketball and baseball. I'm a fan of the Oakland A's (and always will be despite anything) and SF Giants baseball teams. I love the NBA and basketball, but I actually don't have a favorite team (I'm a fan of the Sacramento Kings, probably first because I live in Sacramento).

I love music, but am picky on some different styles. I'll listen to anything except heavy metal. I can tolerate opera and country. I listen to the Beatles, the Beastie Boys, Depeche Mode, Huey Lewis and The News, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and the Pet Shop Boys. The best ever? The Beatles of course. Elvis is not. The Beatles sang their own material. Elvis borrowed. End of story. Now, I know the Beatles did covers for their first few years, but wrote and sang their own music for half of their career as a band. I think a more successful and creative musician will sing his/her own music. That's talent.

My favorite authors are Agatha Christie and William Shakespeare. Shakespeare certainly because of the sonnets and plays, and their themes. The English literature is absolutely rich, with many thanks to Shakespeare. My favorite author of them all is Agatha Christie, and I have developed a web site dedicated to her and her creation, particularly Hercule Poirot, found at Hercule Poirot Central.

I used to collect three major things, but not often anymore: anything "Star Wars" (toys, comics, T-shirts, posters, etc.), MAD Magazine, and "Batman"-related comic books. I don't collect much "Star Wars" stuff as before, however, and I've stopped with MAD Magazine. I don't necessarily collect Agatha Christie novels, however I have a growing number of them simply because I love her stories. I have started to collect some Disney-related items, which include the Disney Mini Bean Bags--I've got 35 of them now! I don't have a lot of autographed items (Darth Vader's, Boba Fett's, and the Kings' Peja Stojakovic) but they're special to me.
