"Once you accept this, the game is a barrel
of monkeys."
Since the release of doom, the pc has become THE
system for First person shooters. This was showcased
again by half-life and half-life add-ons like counterstrike,
the genera was going online. The online multiplayer
envelope has been pushed even further in Battlefield
1942.
This game is almost completely multiplayer, featuring
a small single player mode that is really just a multiplayer
game controlled by AI players, (so don’t buy
it if you don’t have friends).
I have to admit this game isn’t PERFECT, but
it is quite fun and will entertain you for hours.
The amount of random events that occur in this game
give it a lot of replay value, also the add-ons like
Road to Rome and Secret Weapons of WW2 add new levels,
weapons, and vehicles. And if that’s not enough,
you also get to kill people of other nationalities!
