be honest, the jokes are really old and they're
not very funny. Of course, these movies are

pleasant surprise. I thought it was going
to be just a movie about boring battles, but
I was wrong. Points extra for the excellent
art direction and for making you feel you're

sci-fi classic. The second one is far from being
one. Even though some fight sequences are exaggeratedly
                              long, the movie is acceptable.

                                    differs Mystic River from Eastwood's
                                    previous forgettable work Blood Work
is a tiny but very important thing: the relevance
of the characters. Because Mystic River,
as a thriller, it is completely predictable,
but it is really effective as a drama. Because
all the characters are important; they feel
real because they are no heroes and they are
interesting because the movie is a very good
