Make It Out Alive

You have awoken in a strange forest. You have no idea how you got here. You can't see the sun but enough light has filtered through the branches that you can just make out your surroundings. The forest is very densely populated with tree and brush but you can see that there are three narrow paths leading out of this small clearing. You hear a loud stomping and growling but can't tell in what direction it comes from. Will you take the path that is in front of you, the one to the left, or the one off to the right?
