The Rep in February 2000 tried a new venture, a series of workshops for young people, aged between 11 and 15 years, The Young REP.  The workshops were very successful and a further series of workshops at the start of 2001 ended with the young people performing at the Doncaster Cultural Festival in July 2001.
The third series of workshops started in September 2001.  These ended with performances of "Our Day Out" by Willy Russell.  All proceeds are pledged to "New Stages", the campaign for a new performance venue in Doncaster.

One of the members, Matthew Schofield has created a website for Young REP members.  Click here to look.

The Rep has always attracted members of all ages, from all sections of the community and continues to give back to the community a rich programme of drama.
