Rules

Joining:

  • Required areas are astricted(*)
  • Please, if you have more than one picture you will be using, post them all. The lords love the pictures ^_^
  • Posting also other RPG's you are in is awesome and wonderfully loved.
    Puppeteer Notices:
  • Puppeteer names ARE NOT YOUR NAME. It is a general nickname to identify who you are and so i can keep track of who all is playing.
  • It is reccomended to keep all your horses under one puppeteer name.
  • Make sure that no other person has the name that you choose as your puppeteer name. You can check this by going to the OOC area and clicking on "Puppeteers".

    Claiming:

  • Stallions can only claim mares.
  • Mares can only claim foals.
    (note: mares can get horses to come to the terra and be claimed by the stallion.)
  • Claiming is to be done in the interaction boards or the joining boards AFTER they are accepted.

    Terra's:

  • Terra's can have one main herd and three sub herds.
  • Leads HAVE to be stallions but mares can be ALPHAS.
  • Foals may only stay in one herd until they are 4 years old. Then they have to go to another herd.
  • Horses of a feather gallop together... meaning evil horses in evil terras. Exeption to stolen horses.

    Other Horse Stuff:

  • Alphas and Leads MAY be the same horse.
  • Alphas and Leads WILL GET PENALIZED if they type out one liners. Minimum text is 100 words.
  • Breaking rules WILL PENALIZE anyone.
  • 3 Strikes and you're banned for two weeks- you may only post in OOC

    OOC:

  • Please make all of your horses be under the same pupeteer name.
  • Be curdeous.
  • Don't post personal information. Stories, poems and drawings are fine, and pictures are OK as long as they aren't pornographic.

    Stealing:

  • stealing is riddling.
  • The riddle must be 4 lines long MINIMUM
  • In the post, the name of the terra and the lead you are stealing from from should be posted along with a warning in the terra.
  • The horse has three days to respond and one week to guess. If the lead has left a note of leave, none of their horses may be stolen until the date of return.
  • Only one horse stolen per post.
  • Only one post per week.
  • Only leads may steal mares.
  • Only the first two higher mares may steal foals. EXAMPLE:

    Firebird, Volcano Valley
    Body:
    In the darkness is her light
    I want her deeply for her right
    Her beauty makes any stallion convulse
    Her hooves gallop through my heart like its pulse
    Horse:
    Lightfoot

    Fighting:

  • Fighting for a rank in the herd (exception alpha) should be done in the terra. The alpha will first talk with a lord and they will decide on the winner.
  • Fighting for Alpha will be done in the fighting plains and the fate will be decided by the Head Lord.
  • Fighting for Lead is one stallion fighting another stallion. No gang ups. If its a band of bachelors, they will decide upon the strongest stallion, and the strongest will fight for the lead.
  • If a bachelor herd wins, all stallions in a given herd are removed from the herd and put into a band in the bachelor plains. For more information on this, go to disbanded stallions.
  • If the bachelor herd loses, they may go back to the bachelor plains to re-evaluate.
  • stallions may lone fight for a terra.
  • if the lone stallion wins, the stallions have a choice to leave with the old stallion or stay with the new.
  • if the lone stallion loses, well... he loses.
  • You have 3 days to respond to a fight request.
  • You must post a notice in the herd in general if you request them at the fighting plains.
  • You can not challenge a lead for their territory if they are out until the date they come back.
  • If a lead is both lead and alpha, they may be faught for both or either. Mares may only challenge leads to their alpha spot.

    Absenses:

  • If you are going to be gone for a period of more then three days, please post in the absense forum.
  • If you post 3 weeks, the date will be set 3 weeks after the day of posting.
  • If you are to be absent durring a fight for a territory, you must have someone fight FOR you. (puppeteer, not horse. If you are this person, you post as your puppeteer name) That means you are called to fight or are engaged in fight.
  • If you are a lead, you must appoint a temperary lead while you are gone. If you do not post one, it is automatically assumed it is your Alpha, or if you are alpha, beta.
  • Lead rules apply to alpha's, too.

    Breeding

  • Breeding is allowed anywhere, but to concieve a baby, you must post in the Breeding Plains
  • If you do an explicit post, make sure to put an indicator of such in your post IF NOT IN THE BREEDING PLAINS. If you're reading the posts in Breeding Plains... well... you're just looking for a great lemon.
  • when you are done, make sure its known by putting in the subject "completed". Then you will wait approximately 9 to 11 days until your baby comes out.
  • DON'T ASK FOR ANYTHING. Don't beg the lords... it makes us mad
  • stillborn babies are common, and twins are rare.
  • If you're plotting babies... talk to the lords and we'll be happy to help out with it :)
