This is from a painting called Lady in Yellow (1905) by Susan Watkins. It is a portrait of her sister, Eleanor Reeves. The painting was featured on the cover of the Fall 1999/Winter 2000 issue of Woman's Art Journal, and is in the collection of the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk. Virginia. Sadly, they have never had the painting reproduced as a print or poster. I have yet to scan the final version with the finished parasol. August 2000.
