A preparation to Unified Theory]
“Democracy”
came to prominence when the other option “Monarchy” was out of place and was
declining. It is important one should know these two concepts of ruling before
we discuss the impending danger.
In
the former, a king and his descendent ruled a kingdom. A kingdom was prosperous
and its people, happy and content, when the king is
good at his heart and powerful in his mind. He acquires these qualities from
his predecessor and the guru’s who teaches him. The king passes the qualities
to the next generation. The teacher teaches him the basics positive aspects of
life, the knowledge of self. Family, community and its inter relationship. In
the second step he gives him the art of defense and offense. The material wealth
and the power is bestowed on the prince on the advice of the teacher, who
ensures that his student will defend life.
However
forgetting is curse on humanity and since the mixing of lines and genetic
variation is not entirely predictable, the bad creeps in. When the king is bad
then everything goes bad. However, since the rule of mixing always has scope for
returning of the good lineage the cycle is self-sustaining.
Democracy
has its basis in people [individuals] and its strength. If, the majority of the
individuals is good at heart and has strength in their mind, then the selection
they make would be good and therefore ruling would be good. As a democratic
government passes through many cycles, positive developments increase. Democracy
has no reverse direction. If the majority were ignorant and bad and then chosen
leader would be ignorant and bad. When the bad rules then there would be
temporary negative growth. The people feel the effect of the negative growth and
the bad rule and they react to the stress to correct previous flaws. See fig

Thus,
democracy is always positive. But this positive development is lacking in the
case of our country. [In reference to India]
The
reasons are many. The primary one is that India has failed to adopt true
democracy. In true democracy there are only two parties. Left
or right. Every time a government is about to be formed individual reacts taking
one of the side. The feed back for such decision is the past action and
reaction.
For
example, I hold a glass tumbler in my hand and propose two choices to the
public- to place it on the table with a thud [an affirmative force] or gently
place it on the table [Loving force]. In democracy if the majority is with
placing it with a thud, I am supposed to do it. When I do it, there is a
possibility of breaking it. Let us assume that the glass broke down.
The
decision maker or the producer of action is also the receiver of the reaction.
They lost a glass, had to pick the debris and dispose it and had to bear the
burden of buying a new one. This new information
acquired helps them not to repeat the decision. If such an action and reaction
has occurred in the past then, the mass would have opted to keep the glass as
gently as possible. In democracy, there is scope for growth, acquisition of
information to make right decisions.
India adopted a twisted democracy, which gave scope
for Corruption and negativity. The adoption of more than two party, structural
disorientation of power center, paved the way for corruption. In democracy we
noted that negative step in fact is a positive step towards development of
information and knowledge. The introduction of third party always slows down
information build up and there by progress. Here the glass never comes to table
till the party decides its majority. Thus, action and the build up of
information and thereby progress in democracy shifts to the equation of power
and stabilization of the power structure. This
stabilization process comes from understanding behind the scenes. This leads to
corruption. Here the individuals tend to protect their self-interests.
What is sacrificed in the process is the interest of the country as a
whole. Here the basic goal of democracy is defeated.
Indian political scenario and
developments very clearly speaks it. The concept of – by the people, for the
people and from the people no longer applies here. In Indian case, the concept
has to be rewritten as- for the politician, by the politician, from the
politician – for the government officials, from the government officials and
by the government officials. We must note that here the democracy has turned
inwards to the growth of the leaders and the officials. When the leader is
corrupt then the system [the government and its employees] automatically becomes
corrupt. In 50 years of independence, the plaque of corruption has grown leaps
and bounds. To day, corruption is forced on the primary source and the back-bone
[villages] of our country. The fall is therefore clearly written – Unless the
leaders correct themselves.
Democracy
works where large population of its people are intelligent and educated. It
works where people have perception capacity of the surrounding and the path in
which the whole is leading. Unfortunately intelligence and his perception
capacity of humanity is declining. He is being educated the wrong way. Thus
democracy or the freedom that creator bestowed on humanity is taking it to a is
death point. The plight democracy is worst in a country like India, where muscle
power and money, determine the outcome.
The
democracy of the west is the most appropriate one. It helps building up the
information. Information helps us to survive. All information is built on a past
template or the experience. The real knowledge comes from sense experiences.
Sense experiences solidifies into information for the well being of humanity
when we look back at it Unattached or from a Point of freedom. The moment you
are attached to the thinking then our “I” and conquering motive puts the
veil and hide us from the light and true knowledge and our action leads us to
the path of darkness. In other words, introspection from a point of real freedom
leads us to peace and life.
The
world has awakened to the human terrorism. We need to awake to another form of
terrorism, which could turn to be more destructive - the reaction of Mother
Earth to our action. We seem to forgetting the increased natural catastrophes
that is striking humankind. It is time that we locate the cause and eradicate
it. The scriptures clearly say that the action and reaction is our own make and
the creator has nothing to do with it.
