In 1985 I was suppose to go to school for my grade one but my mother felt that I was to young to go to school .That was a sad news for me because we used to enjoy ourselves at crenche and I was hoping to go to school and I did not worse more I COULD NOT GO TO CRENCHE AGAIN.

TSOKOTA BEGINS HIS EDUCATION AT ST PETERS TOKOYO PRIMARY SCHOOL
IN NYAZURA
MANICALAND PROVINCE.
MY AFTER SCHOOL I WOULD GO AND HERD GOATS
WITH MY COUSIN BROTHER ISAAC
THIS WAS MY FIRST JOB
My opportunity to go to school came in 1986 on the 17 january 1986 I was enrolled at St Peters tokoyo primary school. The first day at school I went with my cousin sisters and we were late for school.

I went straight to were the Head was delievering his speech. The headmaster praised me for my confidence which he said some grade sevens will not do the same.I was carrying a packet of mangoes

My first teacher was Mr Masunda, he was no nonsense man and he could beat. On Mondays I would wish if he could fail to come to school but he never went on Leave or missed any day.At one time thought of abandoning school .It was clear my parents would not have agreed with me.

The second term came and passed I was number 28.Come third term I was number 1 overally with 198 marks out of 200. This was to the case for the next three years but in grade four I was number 2 overally. Masunda taugtht us for two years. When I was in grade three my teacher Ms Kubara recognised my leadership skills and I was made a group LEADER and monitor Because I performed my duties par excellence I was elected monitor again the next year.

During the days at St Peters, my father bought us tracksuits which we would go with to school and we would be shown to other students as a good example of students with good uniform. The headmaster was very proud of my sister and I

In 1990 my chance to go to Chitungwiza came I was transferred to ZENGEZA 5 Primary school. The joy going to Chitungwiza was short lived as I was found with no friends in a new environment

It was very difficult for me to break friendship cicles which were existed but as you know succes breeds succes because I was academically gifted I found friends quickly because I was friendly .Some however felt threatened by the new comer's ability and that there number was going to increase by one they did not want to associate with me. Nicolas Munyika and Roy Chidhakwa.

My teacher Mr Mutasa seemed was not also pleased with my presence. When we were in the afternoon session we would go and play soccer before lessons. At the add of the term other were given comments like he is good at soccer but I received the comment "HE likes sports better than lesson"

MY classmates thwanted me to go on group one but the teacher refused instead he placed me on group three may because he did not trust rural schools. This was a very dangerous statament because my father does not want to hear anyone who is not serious with school but because I was number three I escaped but I was cautioned. It is during this time I developed interest in general paper and general knowledge. Every day I would listen to the news on radio and I continue to sit until Ndebele news finishes and I developed interest in Ndebele .

I was also interested in politics as you know there was presidential election in I990 and during this timet there student disturbances which lead to the closure of the University of Zimbabwe. It is during this period I had interest in the history of Zimbabwe. The 1961 constitution influenced me to make my own consitution which was the set of principles I would follow.

I was peer pressured not to participate in athletics by Nicolas Munyika and Roy Chidhakwa.

IN grade six grade six I discovered that I was good at athletics and I this activity and also tried soccer but I was not good at it.My performance at during Grade six and grade seven were either number 1 or 3.On number there was always a lady by name Tendai Bvunzawabaya. During grade seven I represented my school and Zengeza province in athletics. During Grade 7 my friends and I were opposed to love affairs of our clasmates so we could investigate and publish out about the affairs those who were involved were not amused with this. From grsde 5 to 7 I was always in top 20.My parents would come for prize giving days every year
