Midlands State University was opened on the 27 march 2001.Those who were enrolled were to be the poneering students .I felt hounoured when I received a letter from Professor Ngwabi Bhebhe offering me a place .What it mearnt I was going to be among the first 500 pioneers of the new universiy. In history it is recorded that I am among the pioneering students at msu
I Joined msu with the probLem on my back I was suppose to return a sum of $IO OOO I had borrowed when I came the MSU. I was suppose to cut expenses and i had to fore go some luxaries which were being enjoyed by other students . I had to survive on a vegetarian diet not because I loved vegetables because of the circumstances
Some would scold me because my diety but I was determined to achieve my goals by the end first year i had managed ton repay my debts.
The first lesson i learnt at MSU was to sacrife in order to get what you want. whilst i was fore going luxuries i bought all the books I wanted
