JOB INTERVIEW

When you go into your interview, you will be judged immediately on your appearance. Like it or not - that's the way it is! So dress in your best attire and put your best foot forward.

Here are some tips to get you the job:

  • Wear something business-like: a tie, suit, dress

  • Don't wear jeans, nose rings

  • If you have tattoos, try covering them

  • Take a shower before your interview

  • When you walk in, give your interviewer(s) a firm handshake

  • Have your resume and reference letters ready

  • Be organized

  • Speak clearly

  • Avoid looking nervous! I know it's hard but the look of confidence sells!

  • Maintain eye contact at all times - no one likes talking to someone who doesn't seem to be paying attention

  • Don't forget to smile!
