When you go into your interview, you will be judged immediately on your appearance. Like it or not - that's the way it is! So dress in your best attire and put your best foot forward.
Here are some tips to get you the job:
- Wear something business-like: a
tie, suit, dress
- Don't wear jeans, nose rings
- If you have tattoos, try covering them
- Take a shower before your
interview
- When you walk in, give your
interviewer(s) a firm handshake
- Have your resume and reference
letters ready
- Be organized
- Speak clearly
- Avoid looking nervous! I know it's hard
but the look of confidence sells!
- Maintain eye contact at all times
- no one likes talking to someone who doesn't seem to be paying attention
- Don't forget to smile!
