The Garrett
Garrett was born in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts where he lived until the age of seven. Upon finding gainful employment at Sabian Ltd. in Meductic, New Brunswick, Garrett's father, Dan, and the rest of the family moved to the nearby town of Woodstock New Brunswick. Garrett lived in Woodstock until his completion of highschool at the age of eighteen.
Garrett then came to Halifax to attend Dalhousie University where he discovered the technical theatre programme and studied with the theatre dept. for four years. Garrett now works as a lighting designer and technician to theatres in Halifax.
Garrett was the last of the members to join up with the Search for Alexander. Such songs as Chore, Broken and Every Seven Years had already been completed upon his arrival. To this day Garrett persists "I was never the drummer. I'm just the guitar player who had a kit." but goes on to insist that he's enjoyed picking up the drums since the guys got together in 2003.
