The Stray Sod is Irelands newest public bar and Restaurant, situated on the main road from Dundalk in the East to Sligo in the West, the weary traveller will find it nestling among the drumlin hills of County Cavan, in the parish of Drung, which is 7 1/4 miles from Cavan Town and 6 1/2 miles from Cootehill.

Proprieters Eamonn and PJ Denning assure customers of a warm welcome and will endeavor to fulfill their every need. There is ample car parking and buses are made very welcome.
