DOT Safety Hotline
The Dept. of Transportation has a hotline that will allow truckers to file reports
on violations of federal safety regulations. Mandated by recent federal legislation,
the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Office of Motor Carriers.
The Ph# is (1-888-DOT-SAFT)
The legislation also protects drivers against firing, disciplinary action,
or discrimination in compensation for filing such reports.
