The year before,Zaidi had a dream that the Malach Hamavet came to him,and told him that his time was up.Zaidi argued and said that he was not going until his last daughter,Bertha was betrothed.

So it was that after the engagement Zaidi sat on a chair outside the house,and asked for coals,which was to counteract an Ayin Hara.By the time they returned,he had passed away.
