Everyone remembers Aunt Regina Litwin for her open talk. There was no thinking one thing and saying another with her.

A good example was when Uncle Julius had a prostate operation in Campbellton. While still in the hospital, he developed pneumonia. Aunt Regina went to visit him,and when she saw him she said "Julius,you look terrible,I think you're going to die. I'm calling the boys to come home from Montreal right away."

Needless to say,that was all Uncle Julius needed to get better.The next morning he was already fully recovered.

Another time when Aunt Regina was in Montreal, Dad took her along as he went buying for the store. When the wholesaler offered them some mens' shirts for $19.50 a dozen, Dad said it was too expensive and he wanted a cheaper price,so he could sell them for $1.98 each.

Aunt Regina said, "Oh no Morris, I wouldn't sell that shirt for less than $2.98." Needless to say,I don't believe Dad went buying for the store again with her.
