I just have to say this to people. The one major thing that I have learned watching Road Rules, and Real World is that people are seldom what they seem when you first meet them. If you REALLY take the time to get inside of them, you will meet the real p rson and find that as much as people may seem to be very different, they really are the same. We all just want to be accepted and loved for who we are, and appreciated. People need to take a little time to think things over before jumping to a wrong con lusion. If you think about it, didn't people in each RW and RR past series turn out to be different than you thought when the season started?

I went on SAS in 1993 and wanted to clarify something for you...the drinking age in international waters is only 18, and it IS LEGAL for these students to be drinking. However, they are only supposed to drink in the union, not out on deck and definately ot in cabins. I'm surprised SAS allowed that, as they are given 2 days to review each episode. For all I know, though, they can object to something and MTV could overrule it. The beer cans they showed may very well have been smuggled on board by a stud nt when the trip started. Interestingly, I just received a letter today from a friend I made on SAS, whose girlfriend was on this last voyage, and she says that all the voyages are booked up for years now, and that SAS is thinking of buying another ship and having 2 voyages going imultaneously, sailing in opposite directions around the world. I've been concerned about the impact MTV will have on SAS, which was a WONDERFUL experience for me. My friend seems to be much more upset about it, and says "MTV SUCKS."

Hey there RR fans. I was on the Semester at Sea with the Road Rules kids. When you watch the new season, try to understand that this is a totally different concept for Road Rules. Mixing the 6 in with 600 other students was difficult, and being one the 600 other students, somewhat annoying at times. Cameras all over the place (although the crew was really cool), and big rumors about the kids all the time. This season is going to be interesting to watch and they got to do a lot of really cool things on our trips. But remember, there were a ton of other kids on the ship, and everyone had a different experience

I really don't like how they mixed the cast members with other kids. They won't get to bond as much. I don't think the girl's will get along too well. If there is a problem w/ Ayanna and Veronica already on the 1st episode that is a problem. I like Pawel Pua and Ayanna a lot. If any cast members should hook up it would be either Veronica and Pawel or Veronica and Yes.

I just wanted to say that I think that Road Rules-Semester at Sea is not that good so far. I think that Road Rules VII was much better. First of all when they gave the clues they told them what their mission was going to be and with the other Road Ruler in the past they made them try to guess what their mission was going to be. I also don't like the idea of how they are on a boat and they involve other people on the ship besides just the Road Rulers. I mean I think that the part where they are in th classroom and everything is boring. Show us the exciting stuff instead. Just my opinion but I think it is probably accurate in alot of other peoples opinions also.

Ughhhhh! RR Latin America sucked, plain and simple. Poor kids, they will forever go down as the most uninteresting and boring cast ever. We found out nothing about any of their pasts or who they were. And Abe was the biggest loser! The only reason they icked him is because he was poor, his mom's a lesbian, and he's supposedly like some computer genius. One thing they forgot though to ask for- a freakin' PERSONALITY! MTV give it up! RR will never be again until you stop choosing the sloppy leftover cas members who were rejected from Road Rules. I just wanted to clarify a few things that are posted on the gossip section of this web page. I have been on Semester at Sea and it does not cost $25,000 but at the most $15,000 if you want the most expensive cabin. I have also heard from newsletters f om semester at sea that the executive office at SAS get to view the Road Rule SAS shows before they are aired to sensor parts that would show their institute in a negative manner, including no alcohol consumption on board the ship(which was rumored that 3 cast mates were constantly at the bar- I'm sure that will all be edited out. I don't see road rules being an interesting show to watch this season.

I HATE Sarah, she never has anything nice to say about anyone. Holly is okay but can be annoying. Gladys, man I'm glad she's gone. Abe is the man. I went to two years of high school and he is the only reason the show is good. We had a huge party here at the University of Illinois after gladys got kicked off. She was doing nothing for the show. Just to clear it up she didn't kick is ass, he didn't fight back. If Abe wanted to kick her ass he would have. I really love the location this season. I miss Gladys and felt it was unfair to have her kicked off when if fact last season on "Real World" One "MALE" cast member was not kicked off for slapping Irene (although she was wierd, none the less not too cool). Something is not right. I felt Abe dished it out and when it came time to take it he could not handle it. Maybe it cuz he's 18 yrs. old, but he can be abit immature and really bug the hell out of you sometimes. I believe there's a nice guy in there somewh re, but his evil twin always seems to win out in the personality contest. I admit he makes it intresting to watch. E-mail Gladys for me and tell her is is missed and she should of hit him harder.
