The remarkable memorial hall was designed to be the main synagogue of Beer Sheva. The project ran out of money and the unfinished building was deserted for several years. In the late 1970s, a group of perents who lost their sons in wars, established a voulentary group to change the building designation and on 1983, they have managed to complete the building as a memorial hall.
Beside the memorial hall, the building contain a 300 seats theater, a constant exhibition on the struggle of the settlers in the Negev desert before 1948, and a lot of cultural activity through out the year. It is open to the public Sunday to Thursday, 16:00 - 18:00.
