Woodland Traditions!
The Woodland Crew would be nothing without its traditions. Below are some of them that are sure to bring a smile to the faces of those experienced them.
The Blue Light: Ah, the old Blue Light. This thing was one of the many crazy items that Ralfus's mother got at a yard sale and passed on to the WC. We strung it up and from then on it was a tradition to light it up at the start of every party. The lighting of the Blue Light signaled the official start of Drinking Time! While the Blue Light signaled the start of every party, flashing blue lights usually meant the end of a party. The Blue Light has since been taken down and is rumored to be in the hands of Jessica. May it continue to burn! Also noticed the bag of fireworks under the blue light, the spilled drink on the floor, and the famous red phone.
Stacking Bottles: Any time we had a party, it was required that you put the empty bottles on the front window. If it filled up (and it often did) then you started with the other windows in the house. One of the most famous pictures is above...it was New Year's 2000 and we went through a few too many bottles of Andre.
Road Trips: From Austin to PC Beach, the Crew always had a blast on road trips. Flying was never an option...taking the Amigo was the only way to go!
Lunch: Wolf and Ralfus used to cram down lunch while watching the Daily Show (Kilborn, not the new Stewart crap) and Dr. Katz. Chef Boyardee was King!
Sunset Rock: Know as "The Rock," this was one of the Crew's favorite places to go reflect on life. Actually it was just a fun thing to do when you're drunk.
Drama: No Woodland party was ever complete without Drama. You never knew where it was coming from or where it would lead, but you could always count on it. If you're a true Crew member, then you know what that pic is.
Climbing Trees: It must be the monkey in our blood. Ralfus and Dsaur had a thing for climbing trees. No one is sure if it was for the adventure, solitude, or the good view down women's tops that they did it.

The Driveway: The gravel driveway at Woodland was perfect for coming in at a high velocity and then jamming the E-brake to get into a nice spin. This was widely practiced by the crew on those pissed off days.

Passing Out Abuse: Never pass out with our crew. Nuff said.

Thai Food and Thai Mike: The Crew's love of Thai food started with Asia Ann and her little place next to campus. Sadly, she closed down, but Royal House moved into Cookeville soon after. Royal House was always the place to go after a hard night of drinking to piece together the stories from the night before. And Thai Mike would always keep us entertained with his zanny comments. Here's to 8 stars!
