Welcome TO

"UPLIFTING EXPRESSIONS"

Roman's Road to Salvation

The power of choice is real.
We can

Choose to love--rather than hate.
Choose to smile--rather than frown.
Choose to build--rather than destroy.
Choose to persevere--rather than quit.
Choose to praise--rather than gossip.

Choose to heal--rather than wound.
Choose to give--rather than grasp.
Choose to act--rather than delay.
Choose to pray--rather than despair.
Choose to forgive--rather than curse.

You have a choice
"We are the mirror image today of yesterday's choices."

Adam and Eve were blessed with intelligence. We can prove that because God brought all the animals to Adam for him to name. We also know that Adam conversed with God, so they possessed all the qualities that were needed to make the right choices. The awesomeness of this is that our right to choose is a God given right. God so desired that we be given the right to choose that He and Jesus were willing for the crucifixion to happen in order for us to have this right.
Stop and think of the awesomeness of this. God knew the sorrow that it was going to cause Him and His Son, Jesus. For God, it was the loss of His only Son, for Jesus, the loss of His life and having to suffer being separated from His Father because He took upon Himself the sins, the iniquities, the transgressions and the infirmities of all past, present and future generations.
The creative work done in us in the beginning by God and the work that was done for us on the cross by Jesus, equipped us with all we would ever need to make the right choices in life, just as it was in the beginning with Adam and Eve you can choose to sin or obey.
God says there will be a judgment day. We are held accountable for the choices we make. We suffer the consequences or reap the rewards of the choices we make on this physical earth as well as in eternity. We are forever tied up and bound to the decisions and choices we make. At some point in your life you are going to make a conscious decision to accept or reject Jesus Christ as your Savior. This is an eternal decision of blessings or curses.

We will be without excuse when we face God on that day.
Choose today whom you will serve.

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."
Romans 3:10

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and Thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Acts 16:31

"That if thou shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-13

If you would like to accept Jesus as your personal Savior pray this prayer with me.
"Father I come to you today understanding who You are and what I am. I believe that Jesus lived, and that He died on the cross for me. I believe that He arose in three days. I believe His death was full payment for the pardon of my sins. I accept this payment and I accept Jesus as my personal Savior and I ask Jesus to come into my life and into my heart and be Lord of my life today.
In Jesus' name,
Amen"

If you have any questions about the Salvation of Jesus. If you said that prayer. If you need someone to pray for you. If you would just like to have a new friend.
E-Mail me, Chris Leachet. I am here for you. The Bible tells us to "confess with our mouths" so you need to tell someone. Find a Bible believing church where you can go and confess your acceptance of Jesus and follow in the steps of baptism. Fellowship with other believers is essential to our walk. I would like to personally welcome you to the Kingdom of God.
